Rock 101 - Cintas grabadas

Después de yo creo más de 20 años, he conservado y finalmente me he puesto a pasar unas viejas cintas a digital. La idea es pasarlas a YouTube para compartirlas con todo el mundo rockcientoúnico. Así que en la búsqueda me he encontrado con otras cintas... aquí comparto estas, están buenas. En realidad estas cintas representan mi juventud como las de muchos otros. Somos una generación en la que compartimos esto. Todos estamos conectados. Gracias por todos los que hicieron, han hecho y siguen haciendo esto algo especial. Una pequeña tribu a la cual pertenecemos.

Las clásicas cintas de The Cure

Hace muchos años, de cuando iba a la secundaría, y de cuando escuchaba muchísimo a The Cure, me hice ésta cinta con las canciones que más me gustaban de aquellos tiempos.

No se cuantas veces escuché estas cintas, cientos de veces, miles quizá. Lo importante que representa es el orden, el "playlist" que hice en aquel entonces es como un viaje. Fuera de las canciones en sí mismas que son un viaje, pero el orden también nos llevan a otros submundos y nos cuentan también otra historia que también nos lleva para arriva y también para abajo.

Pues aquí las comparto para el mundo. Quizá para mi mismo. Quizá para mi propio futuro, o quizá para aquel que caiga aqui.

Me encontré con esto. Jamás he utilizado una herramienta como esta para lo que escribo pero me pareció interesante y quizá algún día que me sienta "atorado" le daré una probada para ver si me ayuda.

Blog sobre Montreal

Éste es un blog que leía antes de llegar a Montreal. Es de Marcelo, un Argentino que me ilusionaba mucho leerlo porque me hacia sentir que estaba ya allá. Menciona muchos detalles propios de cuando solamente estas confrontado a una nueva realidad, nuevo país, nuevo idioma, y nuevas muchas cosas. Me ha gustado mucho, lo perdí de vista pero ahora que lo volví a encontrar en una vieja carpeta de "Mis Favoritos" en una computadora con Windows 7  pude ver el link. Pues aquí lo comparto para mi y para el que quiera.

Lightroom preset A Tale Of A Star

Well, turns out that I did a Lightroom preset. I did it because I was editing some pictures of my beautiful one and it just came like this. So I decide to call it A tale of a star.

This are the pictures side by side to we can compare what a huge difference make when using the preset.

I never though that they could look like this. To be honest, I was amazed by the results. I could even delete them because I was like oh crap, to contrast-y, but then I was playing around and boom.

Creativity is everywhere

Like exercise, sometimes we need to push the muscle of creativity, and the more you push the more it grows. So we have just an idea and at the end it turns to be very cool and we have a lot of great time doing it.

What you see is the final result, but what is really funny is when you realize all the people who pass by and look at you with curiosity of what we are doing.

Marie-Eve is holding her hand to the camera, and then I took photo after photo. -Okay- I said, and both of us, we move one more step, we try to be in the same position of the last photo, move the cap a little bit (did you notice in the video the cap is rotating in Marie-Eve’s head?). -Okay- I said again after taking the photo and we move again. I mean, the way back home was way much longer but somehow richer. We exercise our creative muscle, we have funny couple-time. I learn what I need to do with the test number 2.

Probably will sound little bit corny, but sometimes you just have to do it. Like exercise.

We do a lot of this type of videos and photos, but they never see the light… but we’ve changed our mind. Let’s share them, why not.
