Starting the research.

I've watched many videos but until no I had the idea to start accumulating them here in my blog for future reference. If they are here is because they contain some topic of interest. I will try to out the others I already watched from YouTube but this is what I will call my own research. They are the experts or they talk about the experts who do the real research. So, me I put them together for a reason here.

Why is the color of subtitles usually yellow when they are embedded in a movie?

Yellow has the highest refractive index and can be seen from a distance. I do presentations and Yellow is the ONLY color that suits all backgrounds except White. Its also visible from other angles.
Thats the reason it is painted on Taxis, School buses, Medians on the road and lane markings.
